THERE WAS A LARGER PROGRAMME OF CRICKET MATCHES ON SATURDAY THAN ON ANY PREVIOUS OCCASION THIS SEASON AND, IN IDEAL WEATHER CONDITIONS, SOME VERY ENJOYABLE GAMES RESULTED.

As far as batsmen were concerned honours went to Donald Anderson and Harry Owen Hughes, who between them made no fewer than 190 runs in the same game, at Cox's Road, in the drawn match be- tween the senior teams of Kowloon and Hong Kong Cricket Clubs.

Bowlers in the news were A. R. Minu, who was playing again seriously after a period of inactivity, and S. Mahmood, who returned yet another useful performance to take 8 for 46. ·
