THERAF HAMMERED away this week- end with increased strength at Italian bases and shipping in Libya.
A communique issued last night in Cairo reported that on Saturday R.A.F. bombers straddled a line of ships at the outer harbour and mole of Benghazi and caused a large fire. at the Berka barracks.
The
barracks, telephone ex- change and military headquarters at Benghazi had been hit in raids the previous night.
West of Bardia bombs fell on barracks and a large concentra- tion of motor transport.
At Hallaya ("Hell Fire Pass"), near. Sollum. bombs fell among A.A. guns at a military camp and at Buq-Buq on A.A. gun emplacements.
Sudan raided Barentu (Abyssinia) with_considerable success.

Raids On Gura
'R.A.F. bombers carried out several raids on Gura which re- made sulted in several explosions and Is-fires among buildings which could be seen 15 minutes after the air- craft had left on the homeward journey.
