THE R.A.F. HAMMERED away this week- end with increased strength at Italian bases and shipping, in Libya.

A communique issued last night in Cairo reported that on Saturday R.A.F. bombers straddled a line of ships at the outer harbour and mole of Benghazi and caused a large fire at the Berka barracks.

The barracks, telephone ex-Sudan raided Barentu (Abyssinia) change and military headquarters with considerable success. at Benghazi had been hit în raids the previous night.
