UNTIL 10 YEARS AGO General Stonewall Jackson's treatise on warfare was the military bible of every Australian army officer. But within the past decade thè Anzacs have discarded the rugged Jackson's theories and tactics and have developed a modern, mechanised army which is pouring much of its strength into the overseas campaign.
