BY NO STRETCH of imagination can to-day's lawn bowls programme be called exciting. It is true: that a certain amount of interest exists in Second: Division where both Kowloon Bowling Green Club and Kowloon Football Club are striving hard the. first-named to win the championship of the Divi- sion outright, and the Chatham Road team to force a triple play-off for the honour.

This re-shuffle of players has resulted in the Race No. 4 usual crop of rookies being registered, almost all the clubs carrying a few. The Services are also well represented by the Air Force, the Sappers, the Royal Scots, and the 8th Battery, R.A. The other new Race No. 6- teams registered are South China A.A., St. Joseph's, Cosmopolitan Club, Indian Softball Club, and the Cyclone Club.

The Footballers have also to play away, Club de Recreio being their hosts, and although I think they will gather the points, the going may be hard. By mutual arrangement Hong Kong Cricket Club play Craigengower at Hong Kong Football Club as the bariks have been removed on the Chater Road ground. The Valley men should be able to force a victory.
