A little later, Deutschlandsender, the German radio, commented on the British re- ports, again describing them as lies.
The German radio twisted the reports around to make the ship an armed auxiliary ship and .at-j tempted to throw stispicion by (making much play of the fact that although the ship was sunk last Tuesday, the news was withheld until Sunday night.
