HOLLAND'S QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY

The Netherland com- munity will celebrate the birthday of H.M. Queen Wilhelmina to-morrow.

The Acting Netherland Consul- General will not, as on former; occasions, give an official recep- tion, but Mr. Middelburg has in- vited the Netherlanders in Hong Kong, Macao and Canton to his residence. In the evening.

The loyal subjects of H. M. the Queen of the Netherlands, who with Her Government had to leave Her country after the German in- vasion and who has taken tem- porary residence in London, have; formed a Worldwide_organisation, called "Netherland Day of Free- dom," the object of which is to keep alive patriotism and loyalty to the House of Orange during the present War.

A local sub-committee has been elected, consisting of Messrs. B. J. Israel (President), J. H. van der Laan and R. H. van Rossum. The president will address the mein- bers of the Netherland community at the Consul's reception.

DUKE OF WINDSOR ENTERTAINS
