BERLIN GETS FIRST TASTE OF REAL Waves Of R.A.F. Bombers Attack Suburb Factories
BERLIN IN THE SMALL HOURS OF YESTERDAY MORNING RE- CEIVED ITS FIRST SERIOUS TASTE OF THE STRIKING POWER OF THE ROYAL AIR FORCE. FOR MORE THAN TWO HOURS BOMBS WERE RAINED ON SELECTED MILITARY OBJECTIVES AND IN- TENSE OPPOSITION FAILED TO BRING DOWN A SINGLE BRITISH MACHINE TO FURNISH BERLINERS WITH THE LEAST SENSE OF COMPENSATION.
