TRAINING SCHOOLS

The King yesterday visited men from every walk of life who are being trained for engineering and munitions jobs. At a Government training school in the London area, these men from all walks of life are being taught to work as filters, machine operations, draughtsmen, and so on,

One of the men the King spoke to hud been evacuated from Guernsey at half an hour's notice.j He used to be a hotel-keeper; he is now being trained as a fitter.
