The "American Clipper" is. sister-ship to the California and Honolulu Clippers and is well. known on the Atlantic, having carried the first consignment of Red Cross materials from the United States to Europe during the present war.

Two weeks ago the "American' Clipper" inaugurated the first mail flight of the new South- Pacific air service between. San Francisco-and-Auckland,--New Zealand. Returning from Auck- land five days ago, this Clipper is again having new lands
