Birkett's 207 on his first game was good and well-deserved, but he falled badly on his second game to make a very lowly 118, this is very hard to understand.
I was very surprised and astonished) at Devonshire's poor scoring, I do not remember ever seeing him put up such lbw scores before; his usual mark is about 180 or 190 and he has put up 200 on several occasions. As a matter of fact he tied the highest score for] the month of January last year with Michal, Gaddi and E. Hearther, his score in that occasion being 234.
Devonshire, however, owing to his military duties, has had little practice) of late.
As was to be expected Joe Harvey and his Asheville Hine up, having beaten Spenko and his Tulsa men twice, play- ed the Alley team on Friday in another S-game Ten Pin match and this result- ed in a win for the Alley team by 34 pins.
