ON Saturday U.S.S. Mindanao had sweet revenge when they downed Hong Kong Baseball Club 8-2 in a return encounter. It will be recalled that earlier in the season the Molthenmen walloped the Chasemen 6-2 with Bill Smith establishing a new high by erasing no less than 13 Mindanaoans via the strike out route.

This time Papa Bear Bill Smith did not make an appearance and Johnny Alvares was on the firing line for the Hongkongites. Johnny!
