EASY WIN FOR GRIMMITT'S. RINK Grimmitt's Civil Service Rink had an easy passage into the Third Round when they trounced Taikoo Dock four by 30 shots to 16.

Grimmitt was leading by 30 shots to 6 at the 17th head and had scored a six, two fours, three and three twos. The Tai koo pair four finished strongly with a one, a three, a one and à five.

A. M. Holland's rink-reduced the lead to 20 shots to 8 at the 14th head but the Police rink scored a four at the 15th head to lead at the 17th by 25 shots to 9.
