The Sun Attacks HERE
Strong, warm sunshine is pleasant to the body but it is hard on the eyes. The brilliant light causes eye-strain which, in turn, brings headaches and ageing lines. The hot, dust- laden atmosphere encourages microbes, and dries up the natural moisture round the eyes, causing ocular congestion and leading to all kinds of eye- troubles.
Optrex eye lotion stops all this. Its regular use prevents strain, removes dust and germs, streng- thens the eye muscles and keeps your eyes happy and healthy. Optrex is recommended by Doctors and Opticians all over the world.

VISIT TO THE NETHERLANDS FLEET
London, To-day. A BRIEF TALK ON THE Netherlands Navy was broadcast yesterday by Mr. Van Sloos, a Dutch journalist, who has just visited the Dutch Home Fleet at anchor in a naval base “Somewhere in England."
His listeners, he said, could imagine the feelings of a Dutchman, completely cut off from his Mother Country which is now under the heel of an in- vader, to see the Dutch "Red, White and Blue" fluttering from the masts of Dutch men-of-war. He was deeply moved and he felt very proud.
There they were at anchor. A few were battle-scarred, but that only seemed to make them look more de- flant than anything else.
He went on board some of the larg- er ships, and it was curious, in a
·British naval base, to hear Dutch bugle calls and Dutch commands be- ing shouted, and then, in British home waters, to hear the proud, ringing cry of "Long Live Queen Wilhelmina!"

Twigs Of The Old Broom
The name of "Tromp" lives not only in the annals of Dutch maritime his- tory; his British listeners would also know the reputation of the Dutch Navy and of the man who hoisted a broom to his mast as a sign that he had swept the enemy from the sea.

Mr. C. D. RAID ON OIL TANKS AT GHENT
London, To-day.
When aircraft of the R.A.F. Coastal Command again raided Ghent yester- day, the pilots not only bombed the oil tanks which the Germans had' captured there but also flew low and machinegunned their targets.
*
Direct hits with heavy bombs were made on several tanks. Blazing oil could be seen many miles away. The flames were so bright that one pilot evading the searchlights, was able to climb to 8,000 feet and still see the target plainly.
He dropped another salvo and started more fires. Then he dived to- wards the tanks again and when only 400 feet up opened fire with his front gun. The rear gunner took up the fire ns, they passed the target. He saw tracer, Bullets
