detectives under Scotland Yard Supt. Yandell are trying to discover the motive for the murder of a 60- year-old German woman, Mrs. Karo- line Jones, widow of a British N.C.O., who was found strangled in her room She at Brondesbury-villas, Kilburn. is believed to have been dead about 14 days.
The murder was discovered when the rent. an estate agent called for He found Mrs. Jones lying dead on the bed. She was gagged and bound. The room had been ransacked.
