Gen. Prioux's Fate?
Paris, To-day. The German claim that General Prioux has been made prisoner could in neither be confirmed nor denied French military circles yesterday.
No information has been received from the General Staff of the north- ern army about General Prioux. It is noted, however, that General Prioux was with those of his troops who were most gravely threatened the rear guard.
Dunkirk's Defences
The French military spokesman yes- terday claimed that Dunkirk is strong- ly held, abundantly supplied and ener- getically commanded.
