COASTAL EVACUATION

London, To-day.

The Government has decided to re- move evacuated children from areas, whether rural or urban, within ap- proximately 10 miles of the coasts of Suffolk, Essex, Kent and part of Nor-

folk.

No more children will be evacuated into these areas.

Children who had come from the London districts, numbering about 8,000 will be moved to the Midlands and South Wales.-Reuter.
