Mr. Attlee On Mobilisation Of All Resources
London, To-day.
MR. C. R. ATTLEE, DEPUTY LEADER of the House of Commons, broadcasting last night, declared the events of the next few weeks, even the next few days, would be vitally important.
"We must be worthy of our men on sea and land and in the air who have shown the bravery, devotion and skill we expected of them.
"We

"The services and property of all must be at the disposal of the Gov- ernment in the common task. Every- one, however, should continue doing their ordinary work until instructed otherwise.
"In exercising its powers the Gov- ernment will do its utmost to avoid injustices to individuals and will work in close co-operation with organised Labour and employers."
Appealing to everybody to do their utmost, Mr. Attlee said: "Above all, don't get rattled. With brave hearts and cool heads we shall como through this ordeal triumphantly."
