Americans are being unofficially ad- vised to be ready for possible evacua- tion.

Berlin, To-day. Early yesterday morning, the German radio told the German people a thrilling tale of how the world was gazing in wonder at the mar- vels of courage the German Army was displaying in Hol- land, Belgium and France.

"The Fuehrer long ago foresaw this beautiful picture of the future which is now realised on the battlefields of the West," the announcer went on, un- blushingly.

The German press trumpets that the battle is the decisive hour, for the German people and that they must forget the great sacrifice of life and think only of the outcome-which will be to give Germany a great world em- pire and make her the mightiest na- tion in the world: Reuter.
