The German High Command claims that German troops have entered Liege, and to have captured the main citadel, although it admits that some of the forts are still holding out..

This may be one of the premature German claims to which we have grown accustomed.

The Germans were making great ef- forts to capture the town, the ground in front of which is strewn with Ger- man corpses, but in Paris yesterday

morning it was said that only one fort

had been taken.-Reuter.
