By "Skip"
ALTHOUGH I AM not going to say that it is easy to forecast the results of to-day's matches, for it never is, I think that the First Division programme is what might be termed ordinary.
without Arthur Grimmitt and on account of the disruption in the side caused thereby, I favour Police to win.
Club de Recreio's "B" team seems to be
The best game in this division should be that between Kowloon Cricket Club and Club de Recreio, at. Cox's Road. The former do not seem to be quite stronger than it was last season, but the as strong as hitherto and I cannot return of Johnny Brown to the Dock side, foresee to-day's line-up being formid-adds backbone, and they should be able to do a little better than last year, when a tie has done for some 30 games. able enough to achieve what no-one eventuated,
The next game on the list la between Kow. loon Bowling Green Club and the Indians at Sookunpoo. There is little indication of form, of course, but I think that the Kow loon team is the better balanced and in spitó of the return of M. R. Abbas, may win by a small margin.
CAREY AVAILABLE
Police did well at Hung Hom last week and with green advantage should make the Civil Servants fight every inch. Joe Carey is available but the visitors will again be

Craigengower, at home, should have little difficulty in getting the better of their neigh- bours, Hong Kong Football Club, Joe Leon ard is available this week and it is to be hoped he can play every Saturday.
SECOND DIVISION
In Second Division, quite an interesting ist of matches is down for decision. At the top of the list is the game between Kowloon Bowling Green Club and Craigengower. This is to take place at Austin Road, where to- day's visitors lost fairly heavily last season. I do not think there will be a different result to-day, for although the home team may not be stronger than last year, I do not imagine that the visitors are quite as strong as they were.
Kowloon Football Club make their first appearance when they meet Kowloon Tong at Chathan Road. Here again I can see nothing but a repetition of last year's result. a win for the footballers, whose line-up I must admit is not at full strength.
Neither Club de Recreio nor the Police have yet played so there is stul less indica- tion of form than there is in the case of other matches. The Portuguese boys proved themselves well above, Third Division class last year, when they earned promotion to this division and so with ground in their favour I will venture to tip them to win.
H.K.C.C. DEBUT
Hong Kong Cricket Club make their debut as the guests of the Civil Servants and a very even game should be seen. The home- sters, lost away from home last week.but the advantage of playing in home surround- Ings may enable them to rob the visitors of the initial win which would be so encour aging.
Cricket Club's team does not look very well balanced and much depends on whether the very strong four skipped by Archbutt can carry the loss which I think one of the other rinks must suffer,
THIRD DIVISION
Talkoo having, overcome what must have .VIEW. appeared a big obstacle at Craigengower, will go-to Cox's Road full of confidence and I think it will be fully justified,
Kowloon Football: Club have a double header, the Electricians providing the "op- position for their second team: they had a win last Saturday and will be expected to repeat this to-day. Cricket Club' juniors, like their elder brethren, are to make their debut and receive the Prison Officers at Chater Road, There, should not be much in It but experience may well turn the scales In favour of the visitors."
Craigengower may follow up last Satur- day's success by beating Hong Kong Foot- ball Club, whilst the Kowloon Bowling Green Club should be able to account for the In-. dians at Austin Road,
In a five game; friendly ten-pins match hald Hong Kong Bowling Alleys-on Thursday night, the Dare Devils beat U.8.5. Asheville by 3,111 points to 2,940.
