Allies Answer Belgium's Appeal For Aid

BRUSSELS, TO-DAY. PLANES HAVE BEEN

BELGIUM AND HOLLAND ARE AT WAR WITH GERMANY. MANY GERMAN

OVER THE ANTWERP AREA SINCE 4.30 A.M. TO-DAY AND THE BELGIAN ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUNS HAVE KEPT UP AN INCESSANT CANNONADE.

An official announcement issued by the Cabinet states:

"Our appeal for aid sent to the Allied Governments has been answered and BRITAIN
