MR. CHAMBERLAIN announced in the Commons yesterday that Sir Walter Monckton had been appointed Deputy Director-General of the Minis- try of Information.
He will also be an additional Deputy Under-Secre- tary of State for Foreign Affairs. The changes take effect immediately.
