KEEN COMPETITION IN H.K.V.D.C. AN NUAL SHOOT
THE ANNUAL RIFLE MEETING of Hong Kong Volun- teer Defence Corps was held yesterday at Kowloon City. About 300 officers and men participated in the shoot and competition was keen.
Some good results were recorded minutes behind schedule, and L/Sgt. H. M. Remedios did well! to capture the Musketry Competition. Col. V. M. Hammond, who tied, was given second place.
The following are the provisional results:-/
In the Corps Championship, Lieut. C. Austin won the first prize with a score of 64 points out of the highest possible of 79.

Four crack shots of No. 1 Machine Gun Company won the Blake Shield
in the team shoot. Their total was 183.
