New York, To-day. THE "NEW YORK TIMES" says the thirty-first Gallup Poll reveals “American sentiment is over- whelmingly behind the Allies after the first seven months of war.

"Eighty-four per cent. of those questioned wish for an Allied victory and the small group favouring Germany has been reduced from two per cent. to one per cent.“
