Wang Keh-min, after his return to CHURCH

Peiping from Nanking, is scheduled to convene a meeting at which he will make a report on the central poli tical conference and important mat- ters relating to the North China poli- tical council the body which will take the place of the Peiping pro- visional government.

Dissolution of the Peiping pro- visional government is expected to be formally announced on Friday and the North China political council, it is expected, will come into existence on April 1.

Sources in close contact with the, provisional government say it was decided in Nanking that Wang Keh- min should be appointed chairman of the North China political council and concurrently superintendent of the department of the interior. It had previously repeatedly been rumoured that Wang Keh-min was to resign on the inauguration of the new central regime. Reuter.

Wang Keh-min, accompanied Chu Shen and General Chi Hsueh- yuan, respectively Ministers of Justice and Public Order in the moribund "Peking Provisional Government,” re- turned by aeroplane from Nanking yesterday.

The abolition of the Peking Govern- ment is taking place on Friday and the "solemn inauguration of the autonomous political council" will be held the next day..

Most of the personnel for the new council will be drawn from members of the provisional government. Havas.
