It is unconfirmedly report- ed that Italy has approached Turkey asking the latter's co-operation should Russia attempt to get some advan- tages in the Balkans.

Apparently Italy's design is to estrange Turkey from the Allies and neutralise the practical effects of the Anglo-Franco-Turkish Pact.
