FEWER WOMEN FAVOUR THE FIRST BOMBS
A TOPIC FREQUENTLY discussed among all sections of the public may be summarised in the question: "Why doesn't the R.A.F. take the offensive more vigorously?” To test public feeling on this topic the British Institute of Public Opinion included the question: “Would you like to see the R.A.F. bombing enemy military objec- tives, even if it means that the Germans would bomb back?"
