BADMINTON ENTHUSIASTS who had been anticipat- ing a keen match in the return fixture between University "A" and Chinese "Y" in "A" Division of the League were not disappointed..

The undergraduates won last night's match in the last game of an evening packed with thrills. So closely-contest- ed were some of the games that although a start was made punctually at 8 o'clock, the last game was not completed until 11.30.

SAIGON INTERPORT NEXT MONTH

It was stated at the monthly. meeting of the Council of Hong Kong Football Association that the Interport series with Saigon realised over $17,000 gross, and, after the payment of Saigon's share and defraying all expenses in connection with the grounds and entertainment there remain- ed a nett profit of over $4,000.

In accordance with arrangement Hong Kong must, visit Saigon at the end of the season and it is expected 24-22 that, gate receipts there will be sufft- 21-17 cient to defray the team's expenses.
