"DAILY EXPRESS" REPORTS THAT HE IS IN NAZI PLANE
POSSESSION OF A PHOTOSTATIC COPY OF STALIN'S LATEST PEACE CONDITIONS WHICH THE SOVIET DICTATOR IS PREPARED TO DIS- CUSS WITH THE FINNISH GOVERNMENT AFTER THE FALL OF VIBORG.
The following are the main points of the peace plan: The main Mannerheim Line positions to remain in Russian hands;
The forts of Kolhito and other fortifications in the Viborg area to be given to the Russians;
Islands in the Gulf of Finland to become Russian, while Russia would control Petsamo for at least 10 years; The Finnish Government to be reshuffled.
NEGOTIATIONS STARTED
Diplomatic negotiations are said to have been started but are being sur. rounded with secrecy.
Important facts in these demands, the correspondent points out, is that Stalin insists on possession of Hangoe and that he has given up the idea of maintaining the bogus Finnish regime in power.
The correspondent adds that both Spanish and German diplomats have made every effort to induce the Finns - to negotiate with the Kremlin.—
