WHISKY OUTPUT TO BE REDUCED
London, To-day,
The amount of ""whisky and other potable spirits" to be manufactured in Britain this year will be limited to one-third of last year's out- put. This was announced in the House of Commons yesterday by the Minister of Food.
He explained that the restriction is due to the shortage, of cereals and animal feeding stuffs.

The supply of whisky will not be affected for some years to come, be- cause of the present large stocks, and prices will remain unchanged. ·
As much beer will be brewed as of last year, although the amount sugar must not be over 70 per cent of the normal requirements. Cereals will be available to meet any de flencies, Reuter.
