MOUNT HOPE BAY SETS NEW RECORD: HIGHER DIVIDENDS

MR. L. DUNBAR'S Mount Hope Bay (Mr. D. Black up) established a new China pony record to-day when it won the Grand Stand Stakes in 1.21.2, one and two-fifths of a second inside Spicylight's record time last Saturday in the Maiden Stakes. It won by six lengths and had a good

reserve.
