'HAW-HAW'-AS B.B.C. STARS SEE HIM: 'GOOD,' 'ROTTEN'

London, January 19.

THE B.B.C. DROPPED its dignity yesterday. A dozen of its biggest men sat in seats of honour at Grosvenor House, Park-lane, at a luncheon attended by 700 people, and discussed their radio rival from Zeesen.

It was Foyle's "Lord Haw-Haw" luncheon, the Western Brothers in the chair. This is what our announcers think about Germany's.

Leslie Mitchell (best-dressed man in radio, former television announcer and now British Movietone News commentator): "I should say he's a German who has work- cd over here, probably up North. He wouldn't get a job over here on announcing, or news-reels or anything.”

"I say, comrade, why are we at- tacking Finland?"
