MEETING OF WAR COUNCIL IN THE FRENCH CAPITAL

Paris, To-day.

THE FIFTH MEETING of the Supreme War Council of the Allies was held in Paris yesterday, sessions taking place in the morning and afternoon.

The British delegation comprised Mr. Chamberlain (Premier), Lord Halifax (Foreign Secretary), Mr. Winston Churchill (First Lord of the Admiralty), Sir Kingsley Wood (Alr Minister) and Mr. Oliver Stanley (War Minister).
