FIVE OR SIX EXPLOSIONS IN "ORAZIO” DISASTER
Rome, To-day.
A REPORT ON THE DESTRUCTION of the Italian liner Orazio which caught fire on Sunday some 40 miles from Toulon was presented to Signor Mussolini (who besides being Prime Minister is also Minister ́› Air, War, Navy, Italian' Africa and Interior) by the Minis- ter of Communications yesterday.
The report says that the fire was caused by a series of five or six explosions, at 7-second intervals, in the ship's main left motor.

The authoritative American magazine, "Time," refers to "amazing rapidity" with which tain has increased her rate of craft output.

It seems that the 110 people still missing left the ship despite the cap- tain's order.
The passengers and crew were divided into two groups in the stern and the bow by the fire. The captain ordered everyone to walt for help and not to lower the boats.
Those in the stern, however, ap- parently were afraid the ship would sink before help arrived and SO launched three boats.
