BALLET DISPLAY SUCCESS
Yesterday evening, the George Goncharoff School of Dance presented its annual display of ballet with a pro- gramme which was very well received by a large and er thusiastic audience.
The quality of the individual per- formances was as varied as the type of dances presented-and these rang- ed from real ballet numbers to tap dances. Several of the' artistes were really excellent; others were - let us be kind, and say amateurish.
In the first category, Miss Pat Pasco was perhaps the best, in a Hungarian dance, and partnered by Goncharoff himself in a delightful "Romance,' to the music of Eric Coates.

Also in the first category is Miss Ellen Ford, in a Spanish dance, £ Bolero, and in "Pastoral," one of the lovely dances in the "Springtime Suite," the ballet music to which was written by Eric Coates, one of Eng- land's leading composers.
Other first-class performances were given by Laureen Clemo, Claire van Mansfeld, Wylick, Betty Lee, Ann Irene Artiuh, Peggy Stoneman and Peggy Scotcher.
