THERE WAS COMPLETE domination of the bat over the ball at Sookunpoo on Saturday where Indian Recreation Club beat Kowloon Cricket Club by the big margin of 7 wickets notwithstanding the fact that the latter club com- piled no fewer than 161 runs.

While the bowling could not be described as good, real reason for the glut of runs I think, was the perfect wicket. I would now rate the I.R.C. ground as being possessed of the best wicket in the Colony, the K.C.C. ground not ex- cluded.

There was little of note in the K.C.C. innings. After a good start by-Mackay and Hung and some hard hitting by R. T.. Broadbridge,. T. A. Madar, who is in great form this sea- well for 20. Just how much effect does the impact have in turning chibface aside in the golf swing. That shock at the moment of contact, especially with an iron, can be felt noticeably by the majority of players. Many have wondered what the effect was on the club- head at this point. Through the multiple-flash photographing sys-

the actual turning of the clubhead is revealed and in the above instance there seems to be plenty of it. As a matter of fact the heel of the clubhead seems to actually leading the way a short while after impact, so completely has it been turned aside at this moment.
