DEATH OF BRITISH

MR. J. P. ULDERUP

The death occurred in his room at the Hong Kong Club during the night of Mr. J. P. Ulderup, principal of the firm of Ulderup and Co., of the Stock Exchange Building.

Mr. Ulderup retired fairly early and was discovered dead this morning by the room boy having passed away in his sleep.

The late Mr. Johannes Petersen Ulderup, who was about 66, was an old Hong Kong resident, having been here off and on for the past 40 years. Prior to the formation of the ma- chinery company

bearing his name in 1934, he was connected with Jeb- sen and Company for many years, and before that was in the machinery business in Canton.
