THREE NEUTRAL VESSELS DESTROYED BY MINES
London, To-day.
THREE MORE NEUTRAL SHIPS have been hit by mines,
two of them off the coast of Holland. The first is the Italian steamer Comitas, of 3.600 tons, which was bound for Antwerp. The ship is badly damaged; the crew and passengers have arrived in Flushing.
The second ship is the Swedish 8.8. Vega, which, after hitting a mine, has gone ashore near Terschelling. Her crew of 27, six of whom are injured, have been landed.
The third vessel is the Danish vessel Bogoc. Several of her
crew
were rescued by the British trawler River Avon, which Itself was shortly afterwards attacked and sunk by a U-boat Twelve have been landed in Norway. Reuter.
***The Comitas, which is listed at Lloyds' DS 5,245 tons gross, is a
steam-turbine vessel owned by the
Mare Nostrum Soc. Anon. di Nav., and was built in 1919. Registered at Genoa, she was 377 feet long.
The Vega, 1,073 tons, was built in 1913 and is owned by the Stockholms Roderiaktich. Svea. Registered at Stockholm, she was 220 feet long.
The Bogoe, of 1,214 tons, was built in 1920 and was owned by the D/S Baltic. She was 240 feet long and registered at Copenhagen.

TRADE WITH RUMANIA

The German trade delega- tion, which has been in Ru- mania since November 13, left for Berlin to-day after signing a new agreement.
The exchange value of the lal wil only be dropped from 41 to 49, in- stead of the 60 the Germans wanted.
Under the agreement, Rumania wil increase her exports of oil to the Reich to 138,000 tons a month and make up part of some previous orders. Thi
quarter of represents about a mania's oil exports.
Germany will take over Rumanlar contracts with Czech armament firms -Reuter.
