ON WEDNESDAY THIS WEEK an exchange of letters took place between Lord Halifax and Dr. Edward Benes, for- mer President of the Czecho-Slovak Republic, concern- ing the formation of a Czecho-Slovak National Com- mittée.

In his letter, Dr. Benes notified to the Foreign Office the composition of the Committee as follows:-Dr. Benes; General S. Ingr; Osusky; Eoutrata; H. Ripka, J. Slavik, Mgr. J. Cramek, and General R. Viset.
