LTHOUGH their inside right, Bach an Singh, was ordered off the field to- wards the end of the first half, for dangerous play, and they were short one player throughout the second period, 6th A.A. Regiment R.A., were still able to beat Royal Engineers' yesterday afternoon at Sookunpoo in a friendly hockey match by the odd goal in three, after leading by two clear goals at the interval.
The winning team was much stron- ger, being faster than their opponents, who, despite hard work, were always kept on the defensive in the first period.
Indar Singh, the centre-forward, who was the most dangerous player for the winners, scored two goals in quick succession in the middle of first half; the first on his own and the other from a centre by Bachen Singh.
