STATE" DESCRIBED BY AMERICAN JOURNALIST

THE HORRORS OF THE proposed "Jewish sub- state” situated south-west of Lublin, to which all Jews in Greater Germany are to be sent, are des- cribed in an article in the "Spectator" by a dis- tinguished American correspondent.

The new "sub-state" will be some 50 miles by 60 miles in area, or roughly about the size of Hamp- shire. It will be entirely encircled by barbed wire and into it will be crammed no less than 190,000 Jews.

Far from being a Jewish sub-state, writes the correspondent, it will be more like a huge and horrible concen- tration camp.

CERTAIN DEATH Before the Jews leave their homes for the "Camp" everything is taken find from them and, if they cannot shelter within the confines of the barbed wire they must build their own shelters-without means and without

tools.

Already, the Jews feel that for many of them it means "certain death."
