adopted, by 104 votes to 39, a resolution offer- NAZI ing, in effect, unconditional support to Britain in the prosecution of the war.

The resolution, while offering unconditional sup- port, urged that it should be made clear that the Constitution of India should be examined afresh ordered to purge

The Premier, Sir Sikander Hyat Khan, said he felt Sir Samuel Hoare's speech in the House of Commons was India meant that clear enough, and would get after the war the same Do- minion status as that enjoyed by the other Dominions.-Reuter.

Its continuance as a great centre of trade is contingent upon the ability of Britain to maintain her position in the world.
