WHY GOERING HESITATES BEFORE FURTHER AIR ATTACKS ON BRITISH FLEET

THE OVERWHELMING preponderance of the Bri- tish and French Fleets is a possible reason why Germany is hesitating over further bombing at- tacks on the British Fleet, says Reuter's special commentary on the war.

In a broadcast yesterday, Mr. Menzies, the Australian Prime Minis- ter, said that decisions taken in the last two months involved an additional expenditure of £26,000,000.
