FIRST BRITISH CASUALTIES
London, To-day.
The first British ambu- lance train, containing sick and accident cases from France, arrived yesterday at a country station near Lon- don.
Ambulances, which were converted coaches each containing 10 stretchers, waited outside the station, and there were 50 or 60 stretchers on the plat-. form with nurses standing by.
The more serious cases, wrapped in blankets, were carried from the train by policemen and volunteer ambulance
