As if to demonstrate the equality of of the sexes, Mayfair, women made a recent week's headlines.
Someone slipped past 100 detectives and through the throng of 1,000 guests who were being entertained by the Duke and Duchess of Marlborough at the coming-out party for their daughter, Lady Sarah Spencer- Churchill, at Blenheim Palace, near Oxford.
She went into one of the women's cloakrooms, where some thousands of pounds' worth of valuable furs
