ATLANTIC RESCUE DRAMA PICTURES

Two R.A.F. flying boats on September 21 rescued the crew of a London ship torpedoed in the Atlantic. Not one of the 34 'men on board, were lost thanks to the speed with which the 8.0.8. was answered. The lost ship was thä “Konëington Court" a cargo steamer. The flying boats were on patrol duty over the Atlantic when an 8.0.8. was plokað up from the steamer reparting that, she was 'sinking. The flying boats set off at full speed and arrived at the scenes ten minutes before the steam- er went to the bottom...
