4.0
By BEST BALL Dorothy Kirby above, like an- other famous Atlantan golfer Bobby Jones, possesses a form in golf that is worthy of emulation. There are certain points in the swing, which a golfer must keep concentrating on or else un the chance that something will not go haywire.
Cocking the wrists, the pause at the top of the stroke and various other stages must be kept under surveillance. This includes too, the position of the left elbow, which should be kept comfortably close to the body in the upstroke. On the downswing it should drop near the side as the left heel re- turns to the ground. If this fac- tor is obeyed, the hands and arms are also kept close to the body on the downstroke coming onto the ball either from the inside out or straight ahead along the line of flight.

RECREIO
LADIES' HOCKEY PROSPECTS
The Recreio Ladies, winners of the Brawn Cup competition last season, are entering both the Caer Clark and Brawn Cup competitions this year.
Miss M. da Roza, left winger, may not be playing this season and in that event her place will be taken by
Miss Figuereido, who was out of the game most of last season owing to a knee injury,
Of the newcomers,. Miss T. Noron- ha is the most promising. Though having just taken to the game she showed good form in her hitting and tackling and should strengthen the junior team.
The senior team will probably be composed of:-Miss Z. Barros; Miss M. Riberio and Miss O. Botelho; Miss M. Silva, Miss P. Gonsalves and Mrs. L. Silva; Miss B. Remedios, Miss M. da Roza, Miss C. Silva, Miss A. A. Alves and Miss Figureido.
The junior team, which showed great improvement at the end of last season, are very keen and will be represented in defence by Miss C. Silva, Miss T. Gonsalves,.captain of the side, and a hard working back, Mrs. Castro,. Miss E. Carvalho, Mrs. M. Silva, an experienced player who has done much for the side, and Miss A. Lachlan.
The forward line will be composed of Miss L. Rodrigues, Miss C. Mac-. ques, Miss M. Canipos, Miss M. Gon- salves and Miss C. Remedios. Miss Rodrigues and Miss Remedios, it will be recalled, were shaping into a fine pair of wingers at the end of last season. The inside.. forwards also improved considerably and the team should occupy a much higher post- tion in the "Brawn Cup competition this season.
Miss Molly Remedios is the non- playing captain, while Mr. J. Gen- salves will again be the coach,
Another practice will be held at King's Park this afternoon at 5,13 p.m.

Hsu King-sing, at left half, was his usual self and gave Tam Kwong-sum little rope and still had time to pay attention to Chan Tak-fai.
Ferrier showed some good touches but there was little understanding be- tween him and Hossack so that sever- al opportunities were spoiled. On the right wing Y. S. Chung played a use- ful game and sent over a number of good centres.
Jorge, at inside right, worked hard but could not combine with Chung though he was-seen In some neat movements with Hossack.

BOOTH
It's the mellowness of BOOTH'S Dry Gin that makes it so much to be desired in cocktails. Such mellowness comes only from treble distillation and maturing in sherry casks and BOOTH'S DRY is the only GIN which receives such care in its mak- ing. It is not to be wondered at that the 1st prize Cocktail in the Inter- national Cocktail Competition was made with Booth's Dry.
