TRIBUNAL TO EXAMINE REFUGEES

Mr. W. 8. Morrison announced yesterday that a special tribunal is to be sat up to review the poal- tion of German, Austrian and Czechoslovakian refugees in Bri-

tain.

Some who claimed to be refu- gees might not really be friend- ly to Britain.

Use will be made of those con- aldered to be friendly. Those vo- lunteering for service with the. British Forces will be registered and may be called up if requir- ed.-Router.

CURIOUS QUIET IN TRIER ZONE

Brussels, To-day.

A terrific explosion shock the village of Schengen, the southermost tip of Luxem- bourg, yesterday when the Germans blew up the railway line across the border nearby.

FRENCH TROOPS ADVANCE TO WITHIN THREE MILES

U.S. AMBASSADOR ACCUSES GERMAN AIRMEN OF INDISCRIMINATE RAIDS

London, To-day.

TELEGRAMS WERE PUBLISHED in Washington yesterday from Mr. Biddle, the U.S. Ambassa- dor to Poland, stating that the German Air Force was taking advantage of every opportunity, with- out regard to the danger to civilian population. The telegrams add that it was also evident that the German bombers were releasing their missiles even when they were in doubt as to the identity of their objectives.

In his first tolegram, which le dated September 8, the U. 8. Am- bassador gives a number of in- stances, Including the dropping of bombs on his villa and that of a nolghbour; the bombing of a War- saw suburban apartment bulld- ing; and the 'bombing of refugee trains and a plainly-marked Red Cross train.
