SOLVING LONELY WIVES' PROBLEMS

In a suite of offices in Lower Regent-street, London, is a group of people who have discovered a cure for the most discussed modern complaint suburban neurosis. Their offices are the headquarters of "The Household As- sociation," an advisory body modelled on the Ameri- can Consumers' Union organisations, which is pre- pared to banish the bogy that haunts the housewife, whether it be loneliness or electricity bills, house-hunt- ing or income tax.

Suddenly, she turned round to say she had changed her mind and wished to live at the seaside, instead of in London.

Once more the machinery of the Association was put in motion, and again the visitor departed, this time for good.
